Since 2017, around 10% of the Mauritian population has been living in poverty. We’re on a mission to change that.
Fighting poverty
The COVID-19 pandemic affected food supply chains all around the world. This, combined with supermarkets closing for weeks, has left many households without the resources they need to sustain themselves. By distributing food and water to the most impacted communities, we aim to improve living conditions in the long run.
Supporting women
Women are more likely than men to live in poverty and yet, they have less access to basic resources than men. By providing food but also feminine hygiene products, we aim to enable women across Mauritius to live more freely and equally.
Reducing food waste
Decreasing food waste is crucial in the fight against climate change. Through our collaboration with businesses, we wish to show how treating our food differently can pave the way towards more sustainable communities.
