FWH Distributed its first boxes on Sunday, August 29th!
A Word from the team
On Saturday August 28th, our President Yuv Sungkur went with local volunteers to the supermarket Super U in Grand Baie to buy products for our first distribution! The next day, Yuv and the volunteers took the car and drove to the district of Pamplemousses in Northern Mauritius. For several hours, we distributed boxes to people in need. We are so happy that our first distribution went well and are looking forward to the next ones!

We are also trying to plan exciting new projects with our two partners: the University of Mauritius and the organisation Nos Enfants de Demain...
A word from one of our volunteers
"During the distribution we met a young mother of five children. She has been struggling a lot during the pandemic to provide for her family. When we saw how touched she was when receiving the box, we felt very happy that we were able to help" - Jaansi, 17 years old, our photographer and volunteer.
