FWH Second Mission

THE LATEST UPDATES OF FWH MAURITIUS!

OUR SECOND DISTIRBUTION!

On October 25th, we made our second distribution of boxes thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers! We filled two cars with more than 25 boxes purchased at Super U, in Grand Baie. The boxes were distributed in the Pointe aux Sables region. A huge thank you to Small Step Matters, who donated 10 boxes to us! After the first operation, which was the result of months of hard work, this second distribution allowed us to further grasp the impact of FWH’s work and of its volunteers on the communities we reach.

What to look forward to

December will be a big month for us, as we are already preparing for our third distribution! We aim to distribute more boxes and reach out to more people during this distribution. We are also preparing a donation campaign for the end of the year, stay tuned! If you want to know more about our future operations, follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, where we post updates on a regular basis!

FWH was represented in Glasgow

It was a great pleasure to see that Yuv, our president, was selected to represent Mauritius, as well as FWH, in Glasgow during the weekend of the COP26 at the UN Climate Change Conference of Youth! "I would say that the people that I met were the highlight of my trip. I had the chance to speak with a countless number of delegates during those four days, and it was very impressive to learn about their experience, vision of the future, fears, and opinion on their countries' policies regarding climate change." Yuv, President of FWH

We received our first grant of 1000 EUR!

LEWIS is a world-renowned communications agency, combining PR, Marketing and Digital to bring tangible results to its clients. It is cited as one of the fastest growing agencies in its industry! FWH wants to thank Team Lewis for trusting us with their grant! The grant will be used to expand our operations and improve the quality of our boxes.

We were in the media for the first time!

In case you missed it, Défi Media, one of the leading news sources in Mauritius published an article about us. You can find it on our Instagram page! This national exposure is in great parts due to everyone who has donated to the cause. We would like to thank everyone who has taken a step in helping this project grow, as no operation would have been possible without you!
